One Piece - Story

The story of One Piece takes place in a fictional world, geography dominated by oceans, in which pirates yearn for an era of freedom and adventure known as the "golden age of piracy". This era was inaugurated by the execution of Gol D. Roger, the pirate lord. Before being executed, Roger told the world that its inhabitants were free to seek all the wealth he had accumulated during his lifetime, the "One Piece". Twenty-two years after the execution of Roger, the interest in One Piece goes off gradually. Many have given up some are even asking if it really exists. Although the pirates are still a threat to the people, the Navy became more effective to counter their attacks on the four seas (East Blue, North Blue, West Blue and South Blue).

As a child, Monkey D. Luffy dreamed of becoming King of the Pirates. But his life changed when he eats a devil fruit that held Shanks (the fruit of the rubber Gum Gum), and makes his elastic body. Many and varied, these fruits when eaten at the cost of never being able to swim again but give useful fighting capacity! Years, later, Luffy sets off in search of the "One Piece," said to be the greatest treasure in the world...

Luffy goes on an adventure after his meeting with Red Haired Shanks, the captain of a pirate ship that has spent a year in his village and saved him from a sea monster by sacrificing his arm. Since then, Luffy wears his straw hat that he offered to make the promise of becoming a great pirate. This hat will become the symbol of his crew. During his adventures, Luffy will meet many people who become friends or enemies. They then live all kinds of funny and sometimes less funny adventures, and must confront many pirate crews and the soldiers of the Navy, the guarantors of justice. They benefit from these meetings to hone their combat skills and strengthen their friendship.
