• ありがとうございます。Arigatō gozaimasu. = Thank you. 

あ(A)り(RI)が(GA)と(TO)う(U)ご(GO)ざ(ZA)い(I)ま(MA)す(SU)。

'ありがとう Arigatō' means Thank you.
'ございます gozaimasu' increases the politeness level of the phrase.

• すみません。Sumimasen. = Excuse me.

す(SU)み(MI)ま(MA)せ(SE)ん(N)。

• ごめんなさい。Gomen nasai. = I'm sorry.

ご(GO)め(ME)ん(N)な(NA)さ(SA)い(I)。

• どうも。Dōmo. = Thanks.

• ごめん。Gomen. = I'm sorry.

Be careful these are informal phrases so don't use them with the teachers or in a business situation.
